The Story Behind Unbothered: Tea as Self-Care in Hollywood

Hollywood moves fast, talks loud, and rarely stops. The Unbothered tea line was born from my need to find stillness in the middle of all of it.

Elegant glass tea jar surrounded by herbs and lemon slices

I started studying health and wellness when I was a teenager in Compton, mentored by Dr. Paul Goss and later Dr. Sebi. Back then, I was already working in casting offices, asking craft services for better options and quietly building a philosophy: what you put in your body shapes how you show up in the world. That philosophy followed me through every production meeting, every red-eye flight, and every high-pressure casting season.

Why tea, and why now

Tea became my ritual because it was the one thing that fit into a chaotic day. Between auditions, location scouts, and production calls, I could always find five minutes for a cup. It wasn't a luxury. It was survival. And the more I shared it with cast and crew, the more I realized I wasn't the only one who needed it.

What Unbothered means

The name came from a feeling. In an industry that rewards reaction, attention, and constant availability, being unbothered is a radical act. It doesn't mean you don't care. It means you care enough to protect your peace. My Unbothered tea line is built on that — clean botanicals, calming herbs, and blends that help you slow down without checking out.

  • Plant-based ingredients rooted in traditional herbal wisdom
  • Blends designed for focus, calm, and daily grounding
  • No artificial flavors or unnecessary additives
  • A ritual that fits into a real working schedule

Tea for the whole creative village

Whether you are an actor heading into an audition, a director prepping for a long day, or a busy parent who just needs ten minutes of quiet, Unbothered is for you. It is tea the way I have always wanted it — simple, clean, and made with the intention that you deserve a pause.

Hollywood Veganista started with food. Unbothered grew out of the need for peace. Both are about taking care of yourself first.
